For the first time ever, Nike has released a FlyEase version of the Metcon training shoe. This is our review of the Nike Metcon 6 FlyEase. We’ll cut right to the chase – this is the Nike Metcon 6 with one big change – it has a collapsible heel that makes for “step-in entry”. This is Nike’s FlyEase technology. Nike FlyEase makes it easy to put your shoes on, and take them off – and it’s great for all athletes, including adaptive athletes. There are laces, but you only have to tie them once. A Men’s Size 11 (my normal size) fits me perfectly. The length is perfect, and so is the width. This shoe fits tightly, but that’s by design. (My only real complaint is that I wish the shoe had a pull tab on the heel – that would make it easier to put on and take off.) I’d recommend you order these in your normal shoe size.
