Let’s look at Nike’s new Air Zoom shoe for HIIT, circuit training, classes, and more – the Nike Air Zoom SuperRep.
Let’s get hands-on with the UA Velociti 2 running shoe from Under Armour. This is a neutral running shoe that uses UA’s HOVR foam – for a cushioned and energetic feel. UA likes to call it the “zero gravity feel.” Is this the right running shoe for you? We’ll try to give you some insights in this review. Here’s some of the styles that are available now (we are an Under Armour affiliate): Let’s take a look. UA HOVR Velociti 2 Running Shoe – Fit & Sizing This shoe runs true to size. I bought a Men’s Size 11 and the fit is good. I wear an 11 in most Reebok and Nike running shoes – so hopefully that gives you some grounds for comparison. The length and width are right where I’d expect them to be. It’s not a super-wide shoe – but I don’t have wide feet. I’d recommend you order in your regular shoe size. UA HOVR Foam – “Zero Gravity” Cushioning System This shoe uses UA’s HOVR™ technology. It’s a light-weight and crisp foam cushioning system [Read more …]
Reebok has launched the Reebok Nano X (Get it now!) – the 10th iteration of their excellent CrossFit training shoe. It is available now to Reebok Unlocked members – but will be available globally on May 5th. (Please note we are a Reebok affiliate). We’ve ordered two pairs (both mens and womens) with express shipping. Check back here for a full hands-on review, and on our YouTube channel soon. In the meantime, here’s take a close look at what’s new with this CrossFit shoe. Here’s some of the launch styles that are available now: While we wait, let’s take a look. Let’s start with the side profile – the Nano x is taller – specifically in the heel and tongue/collar. The upper is “upgraded Flexweave” – it looks different than the original Flexweave. It’s described as being a soft woven textile upper. Reebok is claiming a “minimal drop outsole.” At the moment, I’m assuming that means it is unchanged from the Nano 9 at 4 millimeters. (The “heel to toe drop”, “offset”, or “profile” all refer to the height difference [Read more …]
Let’s take a look at the Nike SuperRep Go. This is a training shoe meant for circuit workouts or classes – whether in a fitness studio, hotel, or your living room. Here’s a few of the colorways available. Get them from Road Runner Sports (we are an affiliate.) This is our hands-on review of these shoes. Nike SuperRep Go Hands-On Shoe Review on YouTube Why read when you can watch? Check out our hands-on review on Youtube: Nike SuperRep Go Sizing and Fit The Nike SuperRep Go runs true to size. A Men’s Size 11 (my normal size) fits me perfectly. The length is perfect, and so is the width. This shoe fits tightly, but that’s by design. (My only real complaint is that I wish the shoe had a pull tab on the heel – that would make it easier to put on and take off.) I’d recommend you order these in your normal shoe size. Nike SuperRep Go – Cushion and Lateral Support This shoe really has two standout features – the cushioning and the lateral support. Let’s [Read more …]

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Running Shoe – Fit & Sizing The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 runs true to size. A Men’s size 11 fits me perfect – and that’s my normal size. The length is good, and the width is good. This shoe is also available in a extra wide version – but we didn’t test that here. I don’t get any heel slippage in the Pegasus 37. This is a neutral running shoe, with a 10mm heel to toe drop. I recommend [Read more …]
Recently Nike revised the trail shoe version of their Pegasus 36 line of running shoes. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Running Shoe is a moderate option for an off-pavement trail running shoe. What do we mean by that? That’s what we’ll discuss in this review. Where can you get it? Road Runner Sports: All right, let’s take a look. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus Trail Running Shoe Hands On Review on YouTube We featured this shoe as part of our Nike Trail Shoe Shootout 2020: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Running Shoe – Sizing, Fit, and Feel This shoe runs true to size. My normal size is a Men’s 11 – and this shoe fits perfect in that size. That said, as with many of Nike’s running shoes, it is not a wide shoe. So, if you have wide feet, you may need to go 1/2 size up. On the upside, there’s probably a few brick and mortar retail stores you can find this shoe in – so we’d recommend you try it on first, if possible. (That [Read more …]
