Nike Metcon 6 FlyEase Review

For the first time ever, Nike has released a FlyEase version of the Metcon training shoe. This is our review of the Nike Metcon 6 FlyEase. We’ll cut right to the chase – this is the Nike Metcon 6 with one big change – it has a collapsible heel that makes for “step-in entry”. This is Nike’s FlyEase technology. Nike FlyEase makes it easy to put your shoes on, and take them off – and it’s great for all athletes, including adaptive athletes. There are laces, but you only have to tie them once. Here’s a close-up look at Nike’s most stable and durable Metcon shoe yet – The Nike Metcon 5 for Women. This is Black/White/University Red/Metallic Gold (Style: AO2982-076), and it looks sweet. Not only is it stable and durable, it is also the most tuned Metcon training shoe yet. What do you get with the Nike Metcon 5 for women? It has specific stability for heavy lifting (squats, deadlifts, and Oly lifting). But it also has traction made for speed, and durability where you need it – thanks to it’s “zoned” durability. There’s also a small drop-in wedge called a “Hyperlift”. This insert (which is also compatible with all prior versions of the Metcon) will give you an additional 6mm of heel to toe drop (for a total of 10mm in the women’s shoe.) What are these good for? Here’s a sharp looking new colorway of the Nike MetconSF – Seaweed/Light British Tan/Green Spark/Black What’s the Nike MetconSF? It’s the first all-terrain Nike Metcon shoe. This shoe repels mud for superior grip and it even has water draining ports to keep your weight down. Do they work? Yep – absolutely they do – we know because we tested them. But there is more to the shoe than just those crazy deep lugs on the boot-like outsole. The Nike MEtconSF is made from materials that won’t absorb water. That means when your feet inevitably do get waterlogged – on your mud run or obstacle course race – you’ll shed the extra water weight as quickly as possible. The upper, insole, and midsole are all made from non-absorbent materials. But, there’s more. See that high elastic leg opening? That’s called a gaiter – and it is there to keep debris out of your shoe – for when you step into the swampy mud. There’s no traditional laces either. That means no soggy, muddy laces.
