Metcon 7 is Nike’s most advanced and the most versatile Metcon yet. It is a cross-training shoe that provides a better range of motion and extends much better cushioning than standard weightlifting shoes for CrossFit or Olympic weightlifting.

Nike Metcon 7 – Overview

Metcon 7 is an advancement from the previous versions and represents the new gold standard in weight training. It is more solid and now uses the React foam for excellent comfort and lock-down lace tabs to stop untying during high-intensity training. This shoe has a wide, flat, and flexible heel with an inner plate and disperses weight from edge to edge for enhanced stability.

The updated rubber wraps along the arch show better traction on rope climbs. The forefoot is a significant change with its four deep flex grooves, including one that splits the whole outsole while allowing the midsole to be seen. This makes better forefoot so you can do any exercise that lands on your toes.

The rubber tread on the outsole and up the side of the shoe grants directional traction from the training room floor to the road, and the Flywire cables merge with the laces to secure the midfoot. The handstand clip reduces wall friction for fast HSPUs while the Tab locks down laces with hook-and-loop closure.

Reebok has launched two new colorways of their potent training shoe – the Reebok Nano 9. The new colorways are BLACK / FLUID BLUE / LEMON GLOW for women … and BLACK / WHITE / VIVID ORANGE for men. What’s special about the Reebok Nano 9? For starters, it’s the only shoe that can wear the CrossFit name. You can see it’s right on the heel. This is the 9th iteration of the Nano – and that means they have come pretty close to perfecting this design. It has a relatively low-profile 4mm heel to toe drop. That means your heel is about 4 mm higher than your toes. This means it is a very versatile shoe- and you can use it for running, jumping, lifting, climbing, and more.
