Check out this video from our YouTube channel: NOBULL High Top Trainer – Sizing These are true to size, but run slightly long and wide. I do feel like it is ALMOST slightly too long – there’s a lot of room up in the toe area lengthwise. But, overall I’m pleased with these in my normal size of US Men’s 11. It’s described as being a soft woven textile upper. Reebok is claiming a “minimal drop outsole.” At the moment, I’m assuming that means it is unchanged from the Nano 9 at 4 millimeters. (The “heel to toe drop”, “offset”, or “profile” all refer to the height difference [Read more …]

Nike SuperRep Go Hands-On Shoe Review on YouTube Why read when you can watch? Check out our hands-on review on Youtube: Nike SuperRep Go Sizing and Fit The Nike SuperRep Go runs true to size. A Men’s Size 11 (my normal size) fits me perfectly. The length is perfect, and so is the width. This shoe fits tightly, but that’s by design. (My only real complaint is that I wish the shoe had a pull tab on the heel – that would make it easier to put on and take off.) I’d recommend you order these in your normal shoe size. Nike SuperRep Go – Cushion and Lateral Support This shoe really has two standout features – the cushioning and the lateral support. Let’s [Read more …]

Here’s a close-up look at Nike’s most stable and durable Metcon shoe yet – The Nike Metcon 5 for Women. This is Black/White/University Red/Metallic Gold (Style: AO2982-076), and it looks sweet. Not only is it stable and durable, it is also the most tuned Metcon training shoe yet. What do you get with the Nike Metcon 5 for women? It has specific stability for heavy lifting (squats, deadlifts, and Oly lifting). But it also has traction made for speed, and durability where you need it – thanks to it’s “zoned” durability. There’s also a small drop-in wedge called a “Hyperlift”. This insert (which is also compatible with all prior versions of the Metcon) will give you an additional 6mm of heel to toe drop (for a total of 10mm in the women’s shoe.) What are these good for? Think heel raise for easier squats, wall balls, and pistols. This is your secret [Read more …]

Inov-8 F-LITE G 300 CrossFit Training Shoe – Now in New Colors

Have you seen the Inov-8 F-LITE G 300? This is the latest addition to Inov-8’s versatility collection. The new F-LITE G 300 is one of the most responsive and protective training shoes ever to hit the market. It has brand new, exclusive technologies (like “Graphene”). Why? For maximum lifting support and stability and at the same time without compromising on cushioning or flexibility. Let’s check some of the stats: A knit upper is used – this has special zones for max flexibility (and breathability) – but also support. Like a locked-in fit and feel? There’s a TPU cage that engages with the laces – for the most secure fit possible. But, there is also a ETPU footbed that is paired with a highly responsive midsole. This means even more cushioning when compared to the average CrossFit shoe. Inside, there is an lifting stabilizer. It’s built into the midsole – so you can’t see it. But what it does is provide a secure and stable foundation through the core of the shoe. There’s also a Graphene-enhanced rubber outsole. Graphene, which is [Read more …]
