Here are some of the styles we are going to look at:
Nike Metcon 7 – Overview
The Nike Metcon debuted in 2015 and has evolved as a cross-training shoe in many different ways, but two things are consistent: its excellent stability and durability for functional movement. The line has changed based on feedback from athletes and workout variations.
The Metcon family has to keep changing to cater workouts with movements centered on endurance, power, speed, and strength to make sure there’s a Metcon for every athlete. Not only can you choose a particular Metcon for your workout, but you can also choose the colors that suit your personality. Here are some of them!
Nike Metcon 7 Mat Fraser
The Nike Metcon 7 Mat Fraser is the Champ’s 4th Personal Edition release and is dropping in limited quantities. The Nike Metcon 7 MF is more robust and more stable than earlier iterations. It is the gold standard for weight training and now uses React foam for a more comfortable high-intensity cardio. There is also a tab that locks down your laces to avoid disruptions.
The shoe’s wide and flat heel gets even firmer with an inner plate that disperses weight from edge to edge. The rubber is revised to wrap up your arch for exceptional grip during rope climbs. It also has a lightweight mesh with textured overlays in high-wear areas to keep your foot relaxed without losing durability. The Handstand clip at the heel reduces drag during wall exercises, while the Flywire cables harmonize with the laces to protect your midfoot.
Nike Metcon 7 Flyease
The Nike Metcon 7 FlyEase refines stability and durability so you can remain standing even after intense strength training. It is lightweight and has a responsive cushioning that heightens comfort during workouts that involve lifting, high-intensity intervals, and even sprints and short runs.
It also uses the React foam for a comfortable, cushioned base that feels lightweight and flexible when you kick it into high gear for cardio and sprints. The laces are still there, but you only have to tie them once. Using the FlyEase technology, the shoe’s flexible heel collapses when you step in then snaps back into place.
Nike Metcon 7
Nike Metcon 7 is ready when you are. It is firmer and more durable than the previous adaptations. While the earlier version focused on breathability, Metcon 7 focuses on comfort using React foam to keep you fully equipped for high-intensity cardio. It has a lightweight mesh with textured overlays in high-wear areas to help keep your foot cool and fresh without forfeiting durability. The wide, flat heel gets firmer with an inner plate that diffuses weight from side to side, as it also flexes to make it easier for cardio intervals.
The refurbished rubber covers your arch for a firm grasp during rope climbs, while the rubber tread gives you friction from the training room floor to the street. The Flywire cables integrate with the laces to secure your midfoot and grooves in the sole to let your forefoot bend easily. The tab has a hook-and-loop closure that confines the laces to give you the freedom to do anything. The shoe also has a Handstand clip at the heel that reduces drag during wall exercises. The Nike Metcon 7 is available for men and women with different colorways to choose from.
