Nike Metcon 6 AMP Army – Overview
The new Metcon 6 AMP takes its new design cues from durable rucksacks in honor of your next competition or qualifying event away from home. Rucksacks are used by soldiers to transport bulky weaponry and medical supplies. Today, rucksacks are used not only by soldiers but also by civilians as part of their workout and training. The new design has a minimalist tactical look that will amp and energize your workout.
The Nike Metcon 6 AMP Army carries the durability and stability all Metcon shoes have and keeps your foot relaxed even when you are doing an intense workout. Of all the Metcons, the Metcon 6 AMP is the coolest Metcon because its lightweight mesh keeps air rolling and your foot cool. It is approximately 18% more breathable than the Metcon 5. The durable screenprint strengthens the mesh without losing breathability.
The heel of this shoe is low, flat, and wide, forming a solid and steady base for weighted exercises. The foam under the heel is more durable for a safe feel, while the forefoot has a softer cushion for high-impact movements. It has a detachable Hyperlift insert that allows you to adjust the height under your heel according to your workout. The sole and the side of the shoe have a rubber tread that provides traction on the ground and grip when you’re climbing a rope.
Nike Metcon 6 AMP Army Review – In Summary
