Nike Metcon 7 – Overview
Metcon 7 is an advancement from the previous versions and represents the new gold standard in weight training. It is more solid and now uses the React foam for excellent comfort and lock-down lace tabs to stop untying during high-intensity training. This shoe has a wide, flat, and flexible heel with an inner plate and disperses weight from edge to edge for enhanced stability.
The updated rubber wraps along the arch show better traction on rope climbs. The forefoot is a significant change with its four deep flex grooves, including one that splits the whole outsole while allowing the midsole to be seen. This makes better forefoot so you can do any exercise that lands on your toes.
The rubber tread on the outsole and up the side of the shoe grants directional traction from the training room floor to the road, and the Flywire cables merge with the laces to secure the midfoot. The handstand clip reduces wall friction for fast HSPUs while the Tab locks down laces with hook-and-loop closure.
Nike Metcon 7 – In Summary
That’s our close-up look at Nike Metcon 7.
Nike’s Metcon 7 is a cross-training shoe ideal for weightlifting but is versatile enough for other exercises like circuit training, rope climbing, and other exercises. It has a firm heel and flexible forefoot and a reliable, ridged outsole that grabs the floor and ropes.
