It has a modernized Flyknit upper to increase more power and comfort in the toe, eye-stay, and foxing, and with more breathability in areas like the vamp and the midfoot. Let’s get hands-on with the UA Velociti 2 running shoe from Under Armour. This is a neutral running shoe that uses UA’s HOVR foam – for a cushioned and energetic feel. UA likes to call it the “zero gravity feel.” Is this the right running shoe for you? We’ll try to give you some insights in this review. Here’s some of the styles that are available now (we are an Under Armour affiliate): Let’s take a look. UA HOVR Velociti 2 Running Shoe – Fit & Sizing This shoe runs true to size. I bought a Men’s Size 11 and the fit is good. I wear an 11 in most Reebok and Nike running shoes – so hopefully that gives you some grounds for comparison. The length and width are right where I’d expect them to be. It’s not a super-wide shoe – but I don’t have wide feet. I’d recommend you order in your regular shoe size. Nike has released the latest version of their very popular Pegasus running shoe – the Nike Pegasus 37 running shoe is now available. This is an Air Zoom shoe – but it packs a big change too – there is now React foam in the midsole. Our review pair has arrived – and we’ve put it through the paces. Here’s the new Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit running shoe in the True White/White/Pure Platinum/Photo Blue colorway. What’s the big draw about this shoe? Nike claims it can reduce the occurrence of injuries: “In testing, the Nike React Infinity Run reduced injuries by 52% compared to the Nike Air Zoom Structure 22. The Nike React Infinity Run reduced running injuries by 52% compared to the Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 in a study of 226 men and women during a 12 week run training program (injury = missing 3 or more consecutive runs due to running related pain). Our study found that 30.3% of Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 runners experienced an injury but only 14.5% of Nike React Infinity Run runners experienced an injury.” Where can you get it? Let’s take a quick look at an excellent trail running shoe – the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail. It’s available in a fresh new colorway: Aura/Light Armory Blue/Mint Foam/Blackened Blue. That’s a mouthful, but the important point – it looks good. It is officially known as Style AR5677-401, by the way. Where can you get it? Road Runner Sports: This is a trail running shoe – and that means it’s meant for off-pavement running. Trade the pavement for the path with the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail. What’s good about this shoe? How about a perforated mesh upper for maximum ventilation? There’s also double “Zoom Air” units underfoot for cushioning of your stride.
