Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Running Shoe Review

Nike has released the latest version of their very popular Pegasus running shoe – the Nike Pegasus 37 running shoe is now available. This is an Air Zoom shoe – but it packs a big change too – there is now React foam in the midsole. Our review pair has arrived – and we’ve put it through the paces. We’ll compare it to the Pegasus 36, as well as some other popular running shoes. Here’s some of the styles that are available now from Road Runner Sports (we are an affiliate): Let’s take a look. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 Running Shoe – Fit & Sizing The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 runs true to size. A Men’s size 11 fits me perfect – and that’s my normal size. The length is good, and the width is good. This shoe is also available in a extra wide version – but we didn’t test that here. I don’t get any heel slippage in the Pegasus 37. This is a neutral running shoe, with a 10mm heel to toe drop. I recommend [Read more …]

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Running Shoe Review

Recently Nike revised the trail shoe version of their Pegasus 36 line of running shoes. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Running Shoe is a moderate option for an off-pavement trail running shoe. What do we mean by that? That’s what we’ll discuss in this review. Where can you get it? Road Runner Sports: All right, let’s take a look. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus Trail Running Shoe Hands On Review on YouTube We featured this shoe as part of our Nike Trail Shoe Shootout 2020: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Running Shoe – Sizing, Fit, and Feel This shoe runs true to size. My normal size is a Men’s 11 – and this shoe fits perfect in that size. That said, as with many of Nike’s running shoes, it is not a wide shoe. So, if you have wide feet, you may need to go 1/2 size up. On the upside, there’s probably a few brick and mortar retail stores you can find this shoe in – so we’d recommend you try it on first, if possible. (That [Read more …]

Nike React Metcon Cross Trainer for Men – Seaweed/Green Spark/Vintage Green

Nike has released a new colorway of the Nike React Metcon Cross Trainer for Men : Seaweed/Green Spark/Vintage Green. Ok, it’s technically style: BQ6044-323. But, no matter what you call it, we think it looks pretty slick. What’s the big benefit of the Nike React Metcon shoe? It’s right in the name – REACT. As in React foam cushioning – you know – Nike’s groundbreaking energy return foam cushioning system. That’s right – every footstep gives you energy back with React foam. But you’ll notice this is a Cross Trainer shoe. Unlike the Nike React running shoes there’s a lot less React foam. That’s because React foam is springy and bouncing – but it is not very tough. And Cross Trainers for the CrossFit WOD, Functional Fitness, and HIIT training need to be built like a tank. So in this shoe the React foam is in the drop-in midsole – which you can’t see – because it is inside the shoe. The outsole (the part that touches the ground, basically) is made from tough rubber – for maximum traction and [Read more …]
