Rogue CB-4 38MM Camber Bar – Overview

Also known as the “Double T Bar, the Rogue CB-4 38MM Camber Bar was tested and refined at Louie Simmons’ legendary Westside Barbell. Their athletes were given a wide range of various bar diameters and sleeve spacing to determine the specs that would best complete their central goals of relieving stress on the shoulders and elbows, allowing greater flexibility in hand placement, enhancing safety on heavy lifts, and enabling athletes to build strength with less weight. With their repeated testing and straightforward feedback, Rogue was able to choose the specs that best deliver.

The CB-4 38MM Camber Bar is machined and constructed at the Rogue factory in Columbus, Ohio, with further precision bending of the shaft delivered by one of Rogue’s local partners. Rogue utilized their standard power bar knurl (with center knurl) for a tight grip, and the rotating sleeves are friction welded for a bond as powerful as a single piece of steel. The 38mm diameter bar weighs 60 LBS unloaded and highlights 16” of loadable sleeve length.

The curved design of the CB-4 Camber Bar compels you to keep your lower back close in the squat by delivering the optimum drop between the center of the bar and the sleeves (4.4”). This results in a stimulus greater than the same weight on a straight bar. The bar’s shaft highlights a Black Cerakote finish, a ceramic-based coating extensively used in the firearm industry for its impressive durability in thin applications. The sleeves use a robust proprietary matte black finish, which significantly expands the longevity and vibrance of the color far beyond standard barbell finishes.
