Nike React Metcon Turbo – Overview
The Nike React Metcon Turbo uses Nike React foam, making it lightweight and responsive for agile, repetitive movements like box jumps and double unders. The instep of the upper is thin and light but still firm to handle abrasion. It is breathable and maneuverable and highlights an asymmetric construction to provide outstanding performance and durability.
Nike React Metcon Turbo has a minimal heel-to-toe drop and keeps you rather low to the ground, so you feel firm and steady in various exercises. The mesh on the outer part keeps it breathable throughout high-heat sets. The rope wrap and handstand heel clip which many liked even before, are refurbished and pared down to reduce ounces. It still has the same durability and purpose without the unnecessary weight.
Compared to other cross-training shoes, Nike React Metcon Turbo feels so light and minimal on the feet as if you are wearing a track shoe. The wide, flat heel helps keep you stable, while the grippy rubber sole is flexible to let your foot flex conveniently. You can also wear this shoe when running while feeling fast and free and you can even increase your speed because of the reduced weight.
