The Reebok Nano 9 is an excellent CrossFit shoe for the year 2020.
And we fully expect that Reebok will launch the Reebok Nano 10 this year.
But while we wait, Reebok is still churning out some great looking color combinations of this shoe.
Shortly, they’ll have two new flavors of Red, White, and Blue.
And there’s a unique style for men and women.
The Women’s style is White / Radiant Red / Blue Blast (product code: FV5912)
The Men’s style is White / Collegiate Navy / Primal Red (product code: FV5908)
Let’s take a close look here – and we’ll tell you why these are such great CrossFit training shoes as we go.
Reebok Nano 9 Red/White/Blue – Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe
Similar to the Men’s Red/White/Blue , the sole of the Women’s version reverses the color pattern with more blue than red in the forefoot. That highlights the metasplit and two piece sole construction – which Reebok claims improves heel to toe movements.
The Reebok Nano 9 is a tough shoe. This is the result of many factors -the tough rubber outsole, the FlexWeave, the rubber protection wrap. You should get years of use out of these shoes.
The Reebok Nano 9 is great for rope climbs. The outsole (or more simply, the sole) wraps up around the midfoot. That puts the toughest part of the shoe right where you grip the rope. And to add even more protection – there’s still that durable rubber protection wrap low around the edges. Rope climbs can absolutely SHRED regular shoes – but not the Reebok Nano 9.
Style is important in a training shoe – after all you workout to look good and feel good – so why not get shoes that help? The Reebok Nano 9 is a very good looking shoe with many color combations.
The Women’s version of the Red/White/Blue color combo looks good as well – but it uses a more muted palette of colors. It’s a subtle yet suave look.
Reebok Nano 9 Red/White/Blue – Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe
The Reebok Nano 9 has a flat outsole with a tread pattern that means maximum contact area. This means great grip and traction in the gym for sled pushes, and just about any other activity . They use a two-piece rubber sole for best heel to toe movement.
The Reebok Nano 9 has a very comfortable "bootie" like fit – which you can see the inner layer here in this view. It’s a very comfortable shoe.
Reebok has made the shoe even tougher than last year thanks to a wide rubber protection wrap – this protects the shoe in the highest wear areas – without adding too much weight.
The Reebok Nano 9 uses regular laces – and that’s a good thing. Laces are a time proven method to get the fit and feel you need in the shoe – and ensure it stays in place even during the most explosive exercises like Oly lifting or jump training.
Here’s the Men’s flavor of Red/White/Blue. See that upper? It’s made from FlexWeave – Reebok’s weaved material. It’s tough as nails, but has plenty of airflow so that the breathable mesh below can work.

NOBULL High Top Trainer – Video Review on our YouTube Channel Why read when you can watch? Check out this video from our YouTube channel: NOBULL High Top Trainer – Sizing These are true to size, but run slightly long and wide. This is an excellent shoe if a normal 11 is a tight fit on you – this will probably work perfect. It has more width up in the toe area as compared to some of the other shoes on the market. I do feel like it is ALMOST slightly too long – there’s a lot of room up in the toe area lengthwise. But, overall I’m pleased with these in my normal size of US Men’s 11.
