Soon, you’ll be able to order this interesting new colorway of the Nike Metcon 5.
What is it called? This is the David vs Goliath edition (or Black/Purple Nebula/White/Bright Cactus.)
Check out the cool print and design on that upper.
That’s a breathable mesh with 3D haptic print deposited on top.
Not only is it tough – but it gives Nike a canvas for unique and expressive designs.
Here’s the Nike Metcon 5 David and Goliath edition. These probably aren’t going to be made in very large numbers – so if you like them , we recommend you order while you can still find them in your size.
This is a limited edition – so you better grab these in your size, while you can.
Let’s take a closer look.
Another view of that great artistic upper, but you’ll also see Nike’s FlyWire integrated with the traditional laces. When you tighten the laces the FlyWire tightens up too – and it runs throughout the body of shoe. And that means a locked-in fit and feel that can’t be beat.
From the top, you’ll see the streamlined outline of the Nike Metcon 5. These shoes are made for the CrossFit WOD, functional fitness, and just about anything else you do in the gym – or in the field.
Let’s take a close up look at that gorgeous design. You can see that Nike has put the mesh upper to good use. On the David vs Goliath shoe it’s like a canvas – and the artist has created a masterpiece.
See the TPU knife edge on the heel? That means minimal wall drag for Hand Stand Push Ups (HSPUs)
This is a good side view of the Nike Metcon 5. You can see the rope wrap – that’s where the white outsole wraps up around the sides of the shoe. The outsole is super tough and durable so it will last a long time – and the medial rope grip section ensures you can rope climb without tearing up your shoes.
Here’s the heel view of this new colorway of the Nike Metcon 5. See the purple TPU? It’s a type of firm plastic – and it’s got a knife edge so that there is minimal wall drag when performing Hand Stand Push Ups (HSPUs.)
This is the sole of the Nike Metcon 5. At first glance, there’s not much to see – but first looks are deceiving. It’s made from two types of rubber – sticky up front for maximum grip and traction, and firmer more durable rubber in the heel for a super-stable foundation. There’s also flex grooves in the forefoot for jumps and more.

Here’s the amazing REP AB-5000 Zero Gap Bench in a new color – Matte Black. This is a great bench – and the one I personally use in my garage gym. A good traditional adjustable bench is typically durable, stable, comfortable, foldable, and can be adjusted to different positions. What if you can get all of these minus the hassle of dealing with disturbing pad gaps found on conventional FID benches? You can now improve your workouts and make the most of them with the REP AB-5000 ZeroGap. Here’s some of the styles we are going to look at: REP AB-5000 Zero Gap Bench – Overview The Rep AB-5000 Zero Gap Bench offers rock-solid stability and highlights 11 gauge steel frames, commercial-grade paint, and solid vinyl padding. Pad gaps are one of the most bothersome features of traditional adjustable benches. To offer a solution to this, Rep Fitness nullifies the gap to provide a higher level of comfort and innovation. This enables the seat to slide along the frame, effectively dismissing the troublesome gap found on practically all competing products. [Read more …]

Let’s take a look at Nano X1 in Camo. Whether you jump, climb, run, or throw the barbell, the Nano X1 is made for any workout. Also known as the all-around shoe, the Nano X1 is not only great for CrossFit exercises, but it also performs well for high-intensity interval training, plyometrics, and explosive movements like box jump. Here’s some of the styles we are going to look at: Nano X1 in Camo – Overview One of the changes made in Nano X1 is the upper that now uses the Flexweave Knit. It is lighter than the older versions that use a super-tough version of Flexweave. The more lightweight upper now provides more comfort and breathability. The midsole in this shoe is made from EVA foam, and it uses Reebok’s Floatride Energy cushioning system. The improved cushion can be felt in the heel, especially when running and heel striking. Like the earlier versions, the Nano X1 has a high-traction, all-rubber outsole. It is flat with no lugs and is made for an excellent contact area with the gym floor. Another [Read more …]
