Heel view of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. This is a very good CrossFit training shoe – and it looks good also. Read on to find out why…
And we have to tell you – it’s really good.
From the tough FlexWeave upper, to the stable heel, to the generous toebox – it’s an all around fantastic cross trainer.
And – Reebok has some of the coolest color options around – here’s a look at one that’s brand new for 2020.
The Women’s color combo is Black / Seaport Teal and Posh Pink.
Side profile of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. The Reebok Nano 9 has super-tough Flexweave upper and a rubber protection wrap – and that’s where that gorgeous fade of teal/pink is applied on this combo. Best looking Nano 9 yet? Maybe.
Men get a variation on this theme too – this is Black / Cold Grey 7 / Posh Pink.
Opposite side profile of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. Men get a variation of this please color theme too – but it’s more "manly" – cold grey 7 / black is a dark color combo, but the splash of pink on the heel looks fantastic. It’s enough – and not too much.
Best of all? Both are available now.
Let’s take a close-up look at fantastic new color combo – and while we’re at it – we’ll also explain what makes this the best CrossFit training shoe you can buy.
Quarter view of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. The Reebok Nano 9 has a 4 mm heel to toe drop – that means you heels are only 4mm higher than your toes. This leads to a very versatile shoe. When combined with the stiff, supportive heel you can lift, run, jump, climb, and more – basically do anything that goes into the CrossFit WOD.
Top view of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. The Reebok Nano 9 has the widest toebox of any of the currently avialable cross training shoes. So that’s great for people with wide feet, but it also helps make for a super comfortable shoe for just about anyone.
Opposite sides of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. With traditional laces – you can secure these shoes precisely every time you train. The thick padded tongue also helps prevent against lace bite – in case you go too tight.
Side profile of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. You can also see the super-tough rubber protection wrap around the back half of the shoe. That’s where most of this great color scheme is applied – but it is also super-tough – which means these shoes will last a LONG, LONG time in the gym.
These cross trainers are built much tougher than your average running shoe.

Men get a variation of this please color theme too – but it’s more "manly" – cold grey 7 / black is a dark color combo, but the splash of pink on the heel looks fantastic. It’s enough – and not too much.
Heel view of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. Another look at the heel. This shoe has a very comfortable fit and the bootie like collar extends quite high up the heel – which makes for a very secure feeling.
Toebox closeup of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. Here’s another closeup of that magnificently wide toebox. This helps your toes splay out for maximum power.
Outsole closeup of the Reebok Nano 9 Men’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / COLD GREY 7 / POSH PINK. The outsole (also known as just the sole) is where the rubber meets the road – literally. It is tough and high traction. There is also a two piece makeup of the sole – which Reebok says allows for better heel to toe transitions.

Opposites sides of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. Of course this version packs all the same great features as the men’s shoe – Flexweave upper, 4mm heel to toe drop, firm and stable heel for lifting weights – and much more. They’ve added an additional color into the scheme – so it is a brighter option as compared to the men’s.
Flexweave upper closeup of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. Flexweave is Reebok’s tough material for the upper (the part that covers your foot.) While it is tough as nails – it’s also breathable thanks to the figure 8 pattern that it is weaved into. The underlying mesh is breathable and with no blockage to air flow – this is a great shoe for working out in the heat.
Heel closeup of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. The heel of the Reebok Nano 9 rises up high for comfort and security – and you can see all that rubber protection wrap that helps to make this shoe last a very long time in the gym (or the box.)
Metapslit sole closeup of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. The metasplit refers to the two-piece rubber outsole construction.
Side profile of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. This shoe also has a 4mm heel to toe drop for versatility. The heel is firm and stable – which means you can squat, deadlift, clean, jerk – and everything else you might do with a heavy barbell, kettlebell, or dumbbell.
But the forefoot has just enough cushion to allow you to sprint, run, box jump, and more.

Outsole view of the Reebok Nano 9 Women’s CrossFit Training Shoe in BLACK / SEAPORT TEAL / POSH PINK. It’s harder to see here, but the shoe also incorporates a medial (middle) rope grip area – where that super-tough outsole wraps up around the sides of the shoe at the midfoot. Combine that with the super-tough Flexweave upper and you have a rope climbing masterpiece. Normal running shoes will get absolutely shredded in rope climbs – their delicate outsoles and uppers can’t handle the friction with the rope!
