GR1 Heritage from GORUCK – Overview
The duck canvas with a waxing process proven over the last 170 years gives the Heritage a retro canvas rucksack look with the durability you’d expect from a GR1. It features a removable, hard plastic frame sheet that secures the laptop compartment and allows you to carry more weight comfortably. The rucksack has plenty of pockets to accommodate different belongings.
It has one external slant pocket for quick access to keys, snacks, and other small items. It also has one large elastic pocket, one large mesh zippered pocket, and one small go-to pocket inside. This rucksack has three rows of internal MOLLE webbing that let you customize your GR1. The GR1 Heritage is TSA Compliant and fits under the seat in front of you. It opens flat, making it easier to pack and organize with a small hidden zipper pocket underneath the handle.
This rucksack uses YKK zippers with silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls constructed from parachute 550 cord. It has a Bombproof Laptop Compartment next to your back. It is extra strengthened and has a false bottom so that when you set your ruck down, your laptop won’t even notice. The extra padded shoulder straps and top handle allow you to carry heavier loads more comfortably.
Heritage Kit Bag – USA
The Aviator’s Kit Bag is used on all Airborne flight operations (jumping out of planes or helos). It has a large opening at the top, big enough to fit a body armor inside. The classic aviator’s kit bags inspired the GORUCK 32L Kit Bags and are also used by Special Forces teams to transport army gear.
It has two external pockets and three interior zipper pockets. It measures 11.5″ x 17.5″ x 9″ and comes with a brown leather GORUCK spearhead patch. It is made from a 10.10 oz Army Duck Waxed Canvas with a Martexin wax finish.
