Inspired by their female athletes, an all-female UA design team resolved to modify the detail in the running footwear industry, creating a women’s unique shoe from scratch. The team focused on the heel, arch, and midfoot height to see the distinction between men’s and women’s feet. Holistic and multi-layered are the new approaches that the team used as they integrated data and customer insights from women who ran a series of prototypes.
After deliberate studies, they came up with the all-new UA Flow Synchronicity, providing HER with the best and perfect fit. This shoe connects to UA MAPMYRUN™ to track and study your running metrics and help make you a better runner. UA used 3D foot scans to create a customized, women’s-specific build for incomparable fit and feel. The soft, textured knit upper of the shoe is lightweight, breathable, and delivers a precision fit, while the plush sockliner cradles your foot for step-in comfort.
The Flow technology excludes the rubber outsole, creating a more lightweight and seamless ride on any surface. The one-piece Flow midsole provides responsive and long-lasting cushioning, while the knit ankle collar and heel design improve comfort and sleek fit.
