Here’s the newest Metcon 7, the Nike Metcon 7 AMP from Nike. The Nike Metcon 7 AMP is more rigid and more stable than earlier iterations making it the gold standard for weight training. It is a functional training shoe that you can also use for CrossFit workouts, rope climbs, Plyometric workouts, and with the React foam, a quick run. Nike just recently launched the latest version of the Metcon family with Metcon 7. It still has a wide, flat heel and an inner plate that intensifies stability like its predecessors, but let us take a look at the improvements and what makes it different from them. Here are some of the styles that will be available soon: Nike Metcon 7 – Overview Like its forerunners, the Metcon 7 also has a plate that flexes with movement so you can execute your reps and intervals with convenience. Maybe these ideas will go into the Nike Metcon 8. What would you like to see Nike improve or change in the Nike Metcon 7? I’ve got some ideas – and that’s what we’re going to discuss in this article. First of all, let me say that we are probably 10-11 months from the next version of the Nike Metcon shoe, as I write this. I don’t have any knowledge of the Nike Metcon 7 Release Date – or even that there will be a Nike Metcon 7. But, I’m guessing there will be, as there has been an annual product launch every year since 2015 or so. The Nike Metcon shoe gets better and better every release – and in fact, I’ve declared the Nike Metcon 6 to be the best CrossFit shoe for 2020.
