Squatting heavy? Get a monolift – it’ll help you train heavy and safe. If you’ve got a Rogue Monster Rack we suggest you look at the newly released Rogue AM-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0.

The Adjustable Monolift is an exceptional device that allows you to easily unrack and rerack massive weight without having to fret about walking the bar out during squats or averting J-cups while benching. This version is upgraded in terms of the attachment’s strength and the re-engineered center of mass around the handle. You can also simplify adjustments and allow the hooks as traditional J-cups with the new stainless steel key that can lock the Monolift’s jaws in place.

Rogue AM-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0 for Monster Rack – Overview

The Rogue AM-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0 for Monster Rack provides you with a new way of doing heavy-weight squats and other lifts without having to walk the bar out or worry about dodging J-cups. This system has been tested at a capacity of 1,000+ LBS and carries two steel mounting brackets in MG Black (with laser-cut Rogue branding), two 1.25″ wide plastic-lined J-Hooks in Texture Red, two steel counterweights in Texture Black, two 1” detent pins, and a set of 3/8” stopper bolts. The hooks are intended to turn back 5.5” when the weight is eliminated, clearing up space to lift. You can control the bar back into the jaws, activating the counterweights and returning the Monolift to its starting position. Height settings can be made in as little as 2” increments (using the included detent pins), and Version 2.0 of the Rogue Monolift has made it much simpler to make these adjustments. Each side of the Monolift weighs just 24.5 LBS (down from 32 LBS), and a grip-friendly design on the J-Hook opening supports easier maneuverability.

The Monolift 2.0 extends just 16.75” from the mounting face of the rack to the end of the counterweight in resting position. The jaws also now sit about 10” below the rack attachment point (several inches closer than Version 1.0), providing more choices for positioning the Monolift. The resting J-Hook is guarded by eight vertical inches of plastic, giving you sufficient space for reracking compared to the original model, which extends about 6” of vertical plastic. Plastic linings in the J-Hook opening and along the whole inside channel coupled with button heads along the inside face of both Monolift segments help protect you from sharp edges and bolt threads while also limiting any harm to your rack’s uprights during adjustments.

This is a decline of about 6” compared to the previous model, producing abundant supplementary clearance for limited training spaces. The swing distance has also been increased from about 5” to 5.5”. This extra half-inch can be meaningful in helping to stop any interference between the Monolift and the user during their lifts. A stainless steel locking key with a snake knotted tether is also incorporated with the AM-2. This empowers you to lock the J-Hook in place for a more comfortable adjustment or use the Monolift as a traditional J-Cup. The locking key is embedded through the rectangular opening in the bracket and J-Hook while the J-Hook is in the resting position. A rectangular opening towards the back of the bracket is created to hold the key when it is not in use. The key’s connected tether also guarantees it won’t be lost.

The AML-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0 – Monster Lite is built in the USA utilizing quality 0.25” and 0.375” steel (with laser-cut Rogue branding in the brackets) and UHMW plastic. The resting J-Hook is protected by eight vertical inches of plastic and provides you with enough space for reracking compared to the original model. To save you from sharp edges and bolt threads, there are plastic linings in the bracket and along the entire inside channel coupled with button heads along the inside face of both Monolift segments. A stainless steel locking key with a snake knotted tether is also included with the AML-2 to allow you to fasten the J-Hook in place. This provides a more convenient adjustment or to use the Monolift as a traditional J-Cup.
