The MetCon 7 FlyEase offers a secure and supportive footwear option to all gym-goers with a low-profile approach and some performance-oriented updates. The Nike React cushioning, together with the new detachable heel and lockdown strap across the midfoot, are some of these significant updates.

Nike Metcon 7 FlyEase – Overview
The Nike Metcon 7 FlyEase perfects stability and durability to rise to the push and pull of severe strength training. The lightweight, responsive cushioning increases support and comfort during different workouts like lifting, high-intensity intervals, sprints, and short runs. The training shoe has a detachable heel made with FlyEase technology that allows you to step in without using your hands; then, it returns quickly to protect your foot.
Metcon 7 FlyEase uses Nike React foam providing a comfortable, cushioned base that is lightweight and flexible when you kick it into high gear for cardio and sprints. The inner plate spreads weight from side to side and makes the wide, flat heel more stable. It also tightens to make it suitable and comfortable for cardio intervals.
You don’t have to worry when doing rope climbs because the revamped rubber covers your arch for intense grip, while the rubber tread provides you traction from the training room floor to the road. Moreover, the handstand clip at the heel reduces drag during wall exercises, and the Flywire cables blend with the laces to protect your midfoot.
Nike Metcon 6 FlyEase
We reviewed the Nike Metcon 6 FlyEase last year.
We found that it operates as described – tie the laces once, and after that – it’s a hands-free affair.
However, be aware they tend to fit a bit looser than the traditional metcon shoes…
