Nano X1 – Overview
This version of Nano X1 has a Flexweave Grit upper, which is more rigid and uses a more durable material resistant to more intense outdoor settings. The shoe’s breathable yet tough Flexweave knit upper is perfect for active, multidirectional movement and helps keep your feet cool. The firm Floatride Energy Foam built in the forefoot adds a bonus of cushioning when you need it.
The shoe also has a durable upper that is superior and stretchy, and it flexes better to support complex movements. This shoe possesses some unique features for a training shoe – low heel drop, a wide toe box, and a solid foam midsole. It also highlights an extended outsole meant to help protect the foot from abrasion burns during exercises like rope climbs.
The Nano X1 has an everyday sneaker feel which means you can wear them casually outside the gym. However, some users commented that the X1 doesn’t have the same support its predecessors give, making this version less appropriate for heavy lifting. It still has excellent stability for high-impact movements like running, but you might not get the support you are looking for if you are a serious lifter.

If you are looking for a versatile and all-around gym shoe, one that shines in fast-moving impact exercises, like jumping, HIIT workouts, and running, then the Nano X1 is the shoe for you. The woven Flexweave upper is lightweight but can take abuse, while the Floatride Energy Foam cushioning in the forefoot gives a responsive feel for running or double unders.
