October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help the cause- consider getting some Breast Cancer Awareness Month clothes from Rogue.
Breast cancer is the most widespread kind of cancer afflicting women all over the world. Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month started in October 1985 and has since become a campaign that educates people about this disease. Pink ribbons, and the color pink in general, display moral support for women with breast cancer.
Here are some of the styles we are going to look at:
Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Overview
At the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James), world-distinguished experts actively pursue a vision of a cancer-free world. The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research is critical to that vision. By sustaining research, drug advancement, and innovative treatments, the fund, through philanthropic support, is changing the way breast cancer is restrained, discovered, and treated.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Rogue specially launched limited-edition Pink products. The income collected from selling these products will be given to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Rogue Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt
Comfortable and breathable, the Rogue Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt has a great pattern and dynamic colors that will brighten your day. It has a pink tie-dye design with a BCA ribbon graphic and the Rogue logo on the left sleeve.
The unisex crewneck is made from 100% cotton and is available in a wide range of sizes. It is durable and can endure several washes, and won’t discolor or fade.
The Bella Bar 2.0 – Cerakote Special Pink Edition
Manufactured to International Weightlifting Federation standards for women’s competition barbells, the Bella Bar 2.0 – Cerakote Special Pink Edition extends slightly compressed from standard men’s bars without losing any performance components. The shaft is machined in Columbus, Ohio, with thoughtfully honed knurling for a solid but non-abrasive grip.
The Bella Bar’s snap ring design and quality bronze bushings help deliver a perfect blend of the steady “whip” needed for Oly lifts and the adequate rigor demanded in heavy powerlifting. It uses Cerakote, an exceptional ceramic-based coating, initially established in the gun industry for its stability in thin applications.
The Ohio Bar – Cerakote Special Pink Edition
The quality steel used in the Ohio Bar is made in the US and is one of the best steel alternatives for a multi-purpose barbell. The barbell shaft is ground and smoothed before machining allowing the bar to have a very smooth finish. It uses Cerakote, a unique finish that delivers exquisite abrasion/wear/corrosion resistance over time — 100X better than the standard black zinc.
The knurling has been meticulously honed over the years for a firm but non-abrasive grip (there is no center knurl). It has unique composite bushings — a self-lubricating material often seen in hi-tech aerospace equipment and military vehicles. The bar offers standard “whip” during Oly weightlifting with sufficient rigidity to hold for heavy powerlifting.
Rogue USA Nylon Lifting Belt
Supported by a year of study, testing, and refinement, the USA Nylon Lifting Belt was created with support from Rogue athlete and CrossFit Games champion Mat Fraser, who used the very same belt in winning the 2017 Games. The end of the strap is updated with a small, folded-over, and sewn-down portion, allowing you to quickly loosen/tighten or remove the belt when progressing from light/body movement exercises to heavy lifting exercises.
The new blacked-out buckle design is partnered with a roller for smoother, more precise adjustments. The Nylon Lifting Belt is also made solely in the USA, using quality nylon + a 0.25″ thick foam frame with a laminated ripstop exterior and antimicrobial interior. The back panel of the belt measures 5” in height, tapering into 4”, and includes a laser-cut grey Rogue logo emblem. Another new highlight is the 3″ long x 2″ tall hook & loop section that allows you to customize your belt by adding a patch.
