Looking for an old-school Paratrooper style boot? Here’s the new Heritage Jump Boots from GORUCK.
The Heritage Jump Boots got its inspiration from the original Jump boots designed in 1941 with rigid toe caps and calf-length lacing. GORUCK upgraded their boots and utilized the supportive MACV-1 platform paired with the finest materials, including the most rigid leather. The leather comes from Rostaing Tannery, established in 1789 and family-owned since its beginning.

Heritage Jump Boots from GORUCK – Overview
The upper of Heritage Jump Boots is an especially tough and long-lasting full-grain leather with a premium finish. It is very durable and only gets better with time and use. The boots have a wide toe box that allows your toes to breathe and lessens the friction that can arise if your feet scratch against the insides of your jump boot. These boots don’t have spacer mesh that absorbs water, so you feel light when you’re hiking.
The outsole of these boots covers the toes for understated protection against hostile terrain or when doing push-ups. The dual-compound rubber outsole provides versatile performance in any setting, including enhanced traction on wet and swampy terrain. The forefoot rubber is developed for increased grip, while the heel area is designed for abrasion resistance and augmented durability.
The boots also have shielding drain holes that keep sand and debris out to keep you dry and clean. At 13mm offset, the boots have the ideal heel-to-toe drop for rucking that reduces the strain on your Achilles (and by proxy, your ankle, knees, and hips) and helps to accommodate a natural pace. The premium suede heel counter prevents hotspots and blisters, while the custom compression insert supports your foot from heel to toe, including the contoured arch support.
