The Floatride Energy Foam provides lightweight cushioning and added spring in the forefoot, while the high-traction lug pattern on the outsole guarantees reliable grip indoors and out. It has a regular fit with a redesigned heel and a more solid TPU heel clip for extra stability.

We reviewed an earlier version of this shoe. Here’s what we found.

The Nano X2, like the Nano X1 before it, is a nice evolution in cross training shoes.

Overall – they’ve fixed some of the things I didn’t like on the X1. Not sure it’s worth an upgrade, but this is a shoe that is better.

Why? It’s got heel to toe drop (7mm) and more cushion than your average cross trainer.

Heel to toe Drop is same as X1 – feels like about 7mm.

Meanwhile, it’s still great for lifting weights.

Good grip from the all-rubber outsole.

(Maybe not powerlifting record weights – but plenty fine for CrossFit workouts)

Overall – this is a great workout shoe. I like that it has some drop (for running) and more cushion than your average cross trainer.
