UA HOVR Mega 2 Clone Running Shoes – Overview
The HOVR Mega 2 Clone is designed for a zero-gravity feel and excellent energy return featuring a HOVR midsole and broad heel and forefoot gauges for a deluxe experience. Because of its exposed UA HOVR foam outsole through the midfoot and forefoot pressure zones, the transition from landing to toe-off feels amazingly stable and provides a soft and pillowy yet active ride. Comfort is the priority in the shoe’s design, and the HOVR Mega 2 Clone highlights a padded heel collar to protect the Achilles from irritation.
The HOVR Mega 2 Clone highlights an improved rim and core structure that offers enhanced cushioning properties and energy return. The sock liner is thick, and the upper is constructed specifically to meet the runner’s anatomical need. It is 3D molded made of 6mm of open-cell PU foam that cradles the foot with enhanced step-in comfort. The woven construction of the UA Clone upper gets stronger when stretched, becoming thicker perpendicular to the applied force. The unique material adjusts to your foot’s shape and movements for a more precise fit.
The carbon rubber in the heel of the outsole provides durability in high-impact landing zones, and the exposed foam on the outsole guarantees a relaxed heel-to-toe transition. The blown rubber envelops the forefoot outsole to maximize cushion with minimal weight. This shoe molds to your foot and coaches you by connecting them to UA MapMyRun™ for real-time Form Coaching tips based on your pace, cadence, and stride.
