GORUCK Shooter Rucksacks – Overview
GORUCK is well-known to the rucking community for their rugged rucking gear. They design, create, and test rucksacks, footwear, and apparel from beginning to end, and Special Forces are judges and juries of the quality and performance of all their gear.
GORUCK customized their rucksacks to become firearms carry. Like all their rucksacks, they have a Bombproof Laptop Compartment with water-resistant fabric and uses YKK zippers. They are also made convenient so you can easily see and access your accessories.
GR1 Shooter – USA
Made in the USA, GR1 Shooter is comprehensive with a complete loop Velcro interior panel and seven rows of loop-lined MOLLE. It is suitable with all hook Velcro firearms accessories and MOLLE accessories. It is constructed from Special Forces Grade 500D or 1000D CORDURA® that is highly water-resistant with a bombproof laptop compartment that fits 17″+ laptop.
GR1 Shooter looks like any other GORUCK rucks, so no one will identify what’s inside your ruck. It opens flat for easy organization with a removable, rigid plastic frame sheet that secures the laptop compartment and enables you to carry more weight pleasantly. The straps and the top handle are extra padded, so you can take heavier weights easier.
GR2 Shooter – USA
GR2 Shooter gives you the ability to customize its interior with its Velcro panels made to fit a system of accessories. These Velcro panels hide what’s inside your ruck, so it looks like an ordinary GR2 on the outside. The YKK zippers provide a silent, glove-friendly zipper pull constructed from a parachute 550 cord. GR2 Shooters is built in the USA from Special Forces Grade CORDURA® that is rainproof.
The laptop compartment is bombproof and can fit a 17″+ laptop. The outer compartment has a built-in field pocket, more Velcro for customization, and two pockets, while the inner compartment has a loopback panel, seven rows of Velcro-lined MOLLE, and a front full loop panel. The top handle and the straps have added paddings so you can carry heavier loads conveniently. There are also four compression straps to help keep the weight near to your back when cinched and four rows of external MOLLE webbing so you can customize it however you want. GR2 Shooter comes in 34L and 40L.

Tactical FP1 (Small)
Made of 210D Cordura, the Tactical FP1 allows you to confidently carry a pistol or other weapon with its padded, buffalo fuzz-lined compartment. It has a small, padded zip pocket outlined with loop Velcro that sits next to your body and fits a Glock 43. The second more spacious compartment has a small zippered mesh pocket inside to keep all your valuables secure. You can also use it for your cell phone when traveling through TSA.
The 2” adjustable Webbing has a buckle closure, and the 2”x3” Patch Panel on the front allows you to customize with the patch of your choice. The Tactical FP1 also uses YKK zippers with silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls built from a parachute 550 cord. It uses the same fabric on the back panel of the Rucker 3.0, so it is comfortable and will create no scrape.
